The service is based in the centre of Wigan in the Galleries with its entrance on Market Street. (Full address - 35 Market Street, Wigan, WN1 WN1 1JL.)
Barnado's provides a place where you can come to receive information, advice and support relating to their sexual health, and contraception and also to talk about their concerns and worries about other matters like relationships and drug or alcohol use.
They work closely with Brook who are based upstairs in The Galleries and we can introduce young people to other services they might find helpful.
The trained outreach team can work alongside young people on a one-to-one or group basis across Wigan Borough looking at issues and behavior that might put them at risk of unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections.
Barnado’s offer a discreet and confidential service for under 18 year olds, wherever possible, supporting you to make decisions about their lifestyle choices and sexual health – based on straight facts, open information and honest options.
