Public transport

You can reach Haigh Hall, Golf and Country Park in a number of ways.

 

From Wigan, there are buses to:

  1. Wigan Road (see the stop on Google Maps) and it's a short, pleasant walk down the canal to the Park.
  2. St David's Crescent (see the stop on Google Maps) for a 15-20 minute walk down Haigh Road and Copperas Lane (do not take this walk in rainy or darkened conditions and take extra care at all times when walking down Copperas Lane since there is no pavement)

The nearest mainline train station to Haigh is Wigan North Western.

Parking charges

It's a flat rate of £1.50 per car, per day, to park at Haigh. Car parks are open between 8am and 9pm.

 

Disabled drivers can park for free for four hours when a Blue Badge is clearly displayed in the windscreen of the vehicle.
