Wigan Pier Goes Wild! Photocall details: Photographers are invited to attend the opening day of ‘Animal Antics’ at 3pm on 21st July at Wigan Pier. Contact Sue Maiden on arrival.
Animal Antics takes place on the Kittywake besides The Way We Were and promises to be jam-packed with fun things to make and do including arts and crafts, quizzes, a canal walk, competitions and the ever-popular animal band. Throughout the year, Wigan Pier hosts a full programme of family-friendly events run by the award-winning educational team. Sue Maiden, Learning Officer at Wigan Pier commented: “Wigan Pier places learning at the heart of all of its activities including the work that we do within the museum and our events programme. It’s great that kids of all ages enjoy getting involved in the activities, combining fun and learning. We hosted a similar event last year and it was a roaring success – no pun intended!” Animal Antics takes place on Thursday 21st and 28th July and the 4th, 11th, 16th and 18th August.
