Flippin' Great - Top Tumblers Come To Robin Park

The cream of Great Britain's men's gymnastics talent will be swinging by Wigan's Robin Park Arena next month for one of the country's most prestigious competitions.
The British Men's Gymnastics Championships has been one of the biggest events in the sport since it began life in 1896. And on Saturday and Sunday November 6 and 7 it will be coming to Wigan.
With a wealth of talent across all the age groups, this year's competition promises to be just about as exciting as it gets. In fact, so many great performers are taking part organisers British Gymnastics says it's anyone's championship.
The two-day event springs into action on the Saturday with the under 16's competition followed by the under 18's and the senior men's all-round competitions.
The Sunday will see all the excitement of the apparatus final and anyone who saw this year's Olympics will know how thrilling it can be! Following this there will be the best in new talent from the top 24 under 14's gymnasts.
Although Team GB did not have a large gymnastics presence in Athens, the gymnasts are currently working hard towards the European and World Championships next year - so are sure to be on top form.
Young fans of the high-flying sport are for a particular treat because, thanks to the organiser British Gymnastics, they can watch the action for free.
The Kids For Free means young people under 14-years-old can watch all the action for free.
Robin Park Arena Manager Mike Woodruff, said: "Robin Park is rapidly becoming one of the country's premier venues for gymnastics. In September we hosted the men's national team competition and anyone who was at that event will know how exciting it can be.

"We are delighted to welcome so many of the sport's best to Wigan. We also think it's great that young fans can come and see the competition for free. There's no better way to encourage more young people to take an interest in the sport so well done British Gymnastics."
