Wiend World of Fantasy

See mythical beasts and beings in a world of legend and fantasy this summer at The Wiend Children’s Centre. Throughout the summer there are lots of fun and games, arts and crafts, role play and amusing activities organised to keep bored youngsters entertained.

All these play sessions are available for children aged 5 – 11 and run from 1.30pm to 3.30 pm at a cost of £2 per child. To guarantee a place at these popular play sessions ring 827626 to book a place today.

In addition to the Playroom The Wiend Children’s Centre is home to Wigan Children’s Library. Staff at the library have also organised some fun play sessions including:

A Fun Filled afternoon of Fantasy Films
Join ‘Harry Potter’, ‘Frodo Baggins’, ‘Shrek’ and many more of your favourite characters

Scary Craft Session
Be prepared for spells and potions at this scary craft session with witches, wizards and other magical beings
Thursday 14 August

Fantastic Artistic Fun
Travel back to Camelot with brave knights, fire breathing dragons and beautiful princesses
Thursday 28 August

These sessions run from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and are suitable for all, children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The sessions are £1 per child. To ensure a place call into the library or ring 01942 828104.
