Accessibility

Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust (WLCT) is committed to providing online information and services to as wide an audience as possible. There are a wide range of accessibility features on this website which are either automatically enabled or which can be manually enabled by the user.

Font Sizes & Colours
You can adjust the size of the fonts displayed on this website. For Internet Explorer, Avant, Netscape and Mozilla Firefox users, click on View on the Menu Bar and select Text Size. For Opera users, click on View and select Zoom. Safari users can click on View and select Make Text Bigger or Make Text Smaller.

Alternative Text for Images
Alternative text, also known as 'alt tags', provide alternative or substitute text, primarily used for images. If your browser is set to display images, you can hover your mouse cursor over an image, and a description of the image will appear. This is especially useful for visitors who use screen readers. Additionally, if your browser is set not to display images, the alternative text will appear where the image would have been. All images on this website have alternative text.

Speech Enabling
Speech enabling a website allows you to download special software to enable the contents of web pages to be read out aloud to you. This site is speech-enabled, and you can find out more information on how to do it on your own computer by visiting the BrowseAloud website.
