Schools' Library Service

Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust offer a Schools’ Library Service which is dedicated to providing quality learning resources, support and advice to all Wigan Local Authority schools, in a cost effective way.  By offering a broad range of services we are able to help schools meet the demands of the curriculum, encourage reading for pleasure and bring another dynamic to the learning process. 

We aim to support you and your school through providing relevant, up to date and value for money resources including:

• Advice visits
• Class sets 
• Museum loans
• Project loans
• Training
