1920S AND 1930S SOCIAL DANCE EVENING
Formby Hall, Alder Street, Atherton, Manchester, M46 9EY.
The Footloose Dance Orchestra presents a unique opportunity to dance to
the authentic period sounds of a live 14pc 1920s and 30s British Dance
Orchestra plus vocalists. Performing many of the great hits of the day
made famous and broadcast by band leaders including Henry Hall and Jack
Payne with the BBC Dance Orchestras, Ray Noble (Al Bowlly), Caroll
Gibbons, Jack Hylton, Mantovai, Roy Fox etc... Everyone is welcome so
get your dancing shoes and let the Footloose Dance Orchestra transport
you back in time to "when good music was popular and popular music was
