Casual/Ad Hoc
Active Life are Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust’s dynamic
sport and active recreation providers, managing the
Trust’s sports centres and swimming pools.
Our aim is to serve the people of the borough, providing
excellent customer care through our staff and
facilities.
We are currently looking for temporary staff to support
our on-site teams, in the following categories:
Recreation Assistants
Conference & Catering Assistants
Receptionists
Fitness Instructors
Swimming Instructors
Active Life relies upon trained support staff to provide
essential cover for permanent employees when they are
absent from work due to sickness/holidays, or to provide
additional cover in periods of increased demand.
Working as trained support staff will enable you to gain
valuable experience of working within the sports and
leisure field.
