“I like the creativity and doing things as a group”

Connected develops creative arts opportunities for people in Oldham recovering from mental health problems. It is the umbrella name for the numerous arts projects in Oldham’s Creative Arts Network.

Threads & Strands Arts Group
Creative fabric group, friendly & informal, with visiting textile artists. Able to undertake commissions and exhibitions.

Spectrum Arts Group
Visual arts group, occasionally working with visiting professional artists, work in a variety of media, such as painted work, photography, mosaics, sculpture, stained glass and murals.

Magic Light Photography Group
Small self help group with facilities to develop black and white photographs with occasional professional help.

Chameleon
Working closely with professional artists, this visual arts group undertakes local projects such as stained glass, mosaics, posters, calendars and postcards.
