Learning - Schools Our
experienced Learning Officers are available to visit schools to deliver
sessions for the following purposes:
• Workshop sessions tailored around elements of the History National
Curriculum (to include curriculum elements of Citizenship & ICT);
• Workshop sessions to compliment teacher’s Schemes of Work;
• Workshop sessions for Extended Schools.
The Learning Officers will bring their workshops and material to support
ongoing classroom work. For further information see ‘Workshops'

And why not bring history to life with
drama interpretations by the
Wigan Pier
Theatre Company.
The History Shop
In addition to our outreach workshops
we also welcome school parties to The History Shop. Workshops are
delivered in the Wickham Gallery and last for one hour.
CHRISTMAS WORKSHOPS
Starting on the 25 November 08 we are offering Christmas Workshops for
Key Stage 1 & 2 children. These workshops are delivered at the History
Shop in Wigan and last for approximately 1 hour 30 mins.

Alternatively for Key Stage 2 classes we can bring our Victorian
Christmas workshop to your classroom as an outreach session.
