What is Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust?
Formed in 2003, Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust (WLCT) is a charitable trust working on behalf of key partners including Wigan Council, Selby District Council and Ashton, Leigh and Wigan Primary Care Trust to manage and support local Leisure and Cultural facilities, initiatives and events.
WLCT is sustained by a combination of external funding and income generation.
The Trust is a registered charity and a social enterprise, which means that any surplus income generated must be invested in improving facilities and services for the people of the Borough.
