Wigan Children’s Rights Service is for children and young people who are looked after by Wigan Council.If you’re in care in Wigan (and sometimes outside Wigan), the service can offer you:
• Support at your review
• Help to tell people what you think about being in care and the way you’re cared for.
• A chance to meet other children and young people in care and take part in fun activities.
• Information about your rights
• Support in making a complaint
• Finding someone to speak to on your behalf (this is called an advocate)
• Help you get an independent visitor.
