Free Swimming Important Information

As from Sunday 2nd January 2011 Free Swimming will be available in the school holidays for those aged 16 and under and year round for anyone aged 65+.

If you wish to participate in this offer then you must have a current Lifestyle membership and produce your Lifestyle card on each visit; please see reception for further information.

Charges apply to those aged 5-16 years in term time and at anytime for customers aged 17-64 years.

How do I register for free swimming?
To benefit from free swimming you will be required to become a Lifestyle member which costs just £1.60 per year. As well as free swimming you will be entitled to a number of other discounts. See the Lifestyle Home Page for more details.

I already have a free lifestyle card, what do I need to do?
Take your card to your nearest leisure centre or pool and pay £1.60 to upgrade. If you have already paid to upgrade within the last 12 months you do not need to do anything. All customers who have a basic card will need to upgrade and will have to pay the £1.60 to entitle you to swim for free.

I’ve previously had a lifestyle card but lost it. What should I do?
Take proof of identification to your nearest leisure centre or pool, purchase a new card (£1.60) and pay £1.60 to upgrade. Please do not complete a new form. If you have already paid £1.60 to upgrade in the past 12 months then you will only have to pay £1.60 for a replacement card.

I’ve never had a lifestyle card. Do I still qualify?
Complete a lifestyle application form (available to download or to collect from your nearest leisure centre). Take the completed form to reception with proof of identification and pay £1.60.
