Children (5-11 year olds)
 What’s in your Local Library?
As well as books (no surprise there!), your local library has a
selection of magazines and comics, story CDs/tapes, DVDs & videos, music
CDs, Playstations and free access to the internet. Also, you can hire
PS2 games from Wigan, Leigh and Standish libraries.
You see, we did tell you that you were missing out if you weren’t

Reading Groups
If you absolutely love reading, then joining one of our reading
groups is a great way to chat about books you’ve enjoyed and meet new
friends. You’ll also have the opportunity to have the pick of the new
books! Reading Groups are for 7-11 year olds, and you can see where and
when they take place below:
