Shevington Neighbourhood Team are based at the library, and hold sessions every Wednesday afternoon. This comprises the Police and Community Support Officers, Shevington Tenants & Residents Association, Wigan Council's Anti-social Behaviour Unit and Wigan & Leigh Housing. They have representatives at the library every Wednesday afternoon available to speak to public.
