John Farrimond Exhibition
The local history group have an exhibition taking place about famous local author, John Farrimond. The official opening takes place on Saturday 7th November between 10.00am and 12.00. The exhibition then will be open every Friday 10.00am - 3.00pm and every Saturday 10.00am - 12.00 until 12th December.

Local Groups

The museum (top floor of Hindley Library) containing items of local interest, is now run by the Local History Group and visits can be arranged by giving your name/address/telephone number either to the group (contact Mrs Topping on Wigan 257361) or passed on to the group by the Library staff. The museum also has open days - posters are in the library giving dates for these.
