1. Grass Pitches managed by Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust will open on Saturday 13^h August 2005 and close on Sunday 7^th May 2006, except those grounds used for Cricket (Aspull Civic pitch 2 and mini pitches), which will open on the 3rd September 2005 and close on 9th April 2006. The pitches will be closed during the Christmas period on the dates to be notified to the League Secretaries.

2. Fees shall be paid promptly in accordance with the Pitch Rental Agreement. Failure to pay promptly may result in the termination of the Pitch Rental or the loss of the phased payment facility.

3. The club shall indemnify Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust and Wigan Council against any accident or injury arising from the club's use of the allocated facilities.

5. To maximise pitch quality through the season pitches may only be used by the allocated teams for league fixtures and cup matches and must not be used for training, friendly or practice matches.

6. Where the club shares pitches with another club, it is the Club or League Secretary's duty to arrange fixtures accordingly. Any duplication of home fixtures must be resolved by the respective Club Secretaries. Clubs are responsible for ensuring that they, or League secretaries, provide a list of all home fixtures, with at least two weeks notice, to Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust.

7. During periods of poor weather, Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust will decide whether soccer pitches should remain open for referees to make the final decision. The result of the Trust’s decision will be available on the 24hr answer phone 01942 777070 after 9.30 am on Fridays. All rugby pitches will be left open for referees to make the final decision. The decision of Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust or a League-appointed referee is final.

8. Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust accepts no responsibility for personal belongings left in changing rooms during matches. Changing rooms may only be used by teams playing on the pitches at that site and not by teams playing elsewhere, except by prior agreement with Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust.

9. Where changing and shower facilities are available, the Team Manager will be provided with a key for which they are responsible. Keys should not be loaned to other teams, anyone losing a key may obtain a replacement (for a fee of £10) from Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust. The club will be responsible for any damage sustained whilst the facility is being used by the team. Each Team Manager must contribute to ensuring: -

i) That the facility is left in a clean and tidy condition after use.

ii) That all lights, showers, taps etc. are switched off on leaving the facility.

iii) That the facility is locked on departure of all users

10. Teams should ensure that no litter is left on the playing field following matches

11. Secretaries are responsible for ensuring that players are made aware of the evacuation procedures located in the changing facilities.
