Grounds Maintenance - Schools, Colleges and
other Educational Establishments
We currently maintain over 140 schools throughout Wigan Borough,
supplying a full range of maintenance services to amenity and sports
pitch areas, working to a pre-arranged service level agreements and
specific customer requirements. We maintain winter and summer sports
pitches including rugby, football, hockey and full athletic facilities,
we also maintain all-weather pitches including Astro-Turf and Redgra.
Other grounds maintenance services include full and partial pitch
renovation ensuring that whatever the weather a good quality playing
surface is maintained.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Health & Safety is a very import aspect of our service delivery; all
our staff are fully trained and regularly assessed relating to good
health and safety practice including National Provisional Training
Council (NPTC) qualifications relating to herbicide and chainsaw
operations. In support of our health and safety training programmes our
service operates an effective Health & Safety Management System,
including safety policies and procedures, codes of practice, risk
assessments and COSHH assessments. Our service also carries full
insurance cover and can demonstrate compliance to all current
legislation that impacts on our service provision.
