Grounds Maintenance Services have recently been awarded with the ENCAMS - Tidy Business Gold Standard Award in recognition of its work to improve its waste management practices and for its commitment to improving the visual appearance of the local environment. To achieve the Gold Award Grounds Maintenance Services needed to consider relevant legal waste management issues along with staff training and the introduction of waste recycling and waste minimisation. In addition to these criteria Grounds Maintenance Services have linked up with local community groups and have undertaken and supported a number of local environmental improvement initiatives.
