Festivals are back and we have fun, fun, fun for all the family from
music and concerts to dance and theatre. A first for Wigan is the
Wigan
Life Tuned-in Concerts with a full line-up of top acts sure to suit
everyone’s tastes. Haigh are hosting a Medieval Day with birds of prey,
jousting and jesters and a banquet fit for a king.
With the opening of the Museum of Wigan Life, the Heritage Services have
planned a full programme of events for you to enjoy and celebrate your
rich cultural heritage. Whatever you decide to do over the coming months
we hope you enjoy everything this guide has to offer…
Remember booking is essential for many events so we would advise to
always ring your chosen venue beforehand to avoid disappointment. WLCT

are contained within it, so please remember to keep your entries coming

Don’t forget that we also need to be informed of any changes that occur
to your activities, particularly those listed within regular events and
community events.
The deadline for the Aug/Sept/Oct 2010 issue is FRIDAY 18th JUNE – we
need to have your entries before this date.
The What's On pages are only updated every 3 months inline with the
What's On publication. Request for events to be included after the
deadline dates may not get added to the website.
