 This past summer, Wigan Borough’s young
actors and actresses set stages ablaze at the first annual youth theatre
festival.
The Platform 07 event celebrated the work of the ten Wigan Pier Youth
Theatre Groups which take place across the borough at various times
through the year.
If you were inspired by any of the performances taking place during
Platform 07, or perhaps just fancy having a go at acting, then the good
news is that the Satellite Youth Theatre Groups are set to begin again
this September.
The groups take place over a 12-week period from September 17th to
December 14th at venues across Wigan Borough. Demand is high for these
popular groups, so if you want to get involved, contact Martin Green on

Below are the details of all the groups, where they take place and, of
course, when.
Platt Bridge (Ages 8-11)
Where: Holy Family Primary School, Wigan Street, Platt Bridge WN2 5JF.
When: Mondays (4.30-5.30)
Platt Bridge (Ages 12-15)

When: Mondays (5.30 – 7pm)
Lowton (Ages 12-15)
Where: Lowton Youth & Community Centre, Newton Road.

Hawkley Hall (Ages 8-11)

When: Tuesdays (6.30-7.30)
