One day I will be,
Just as good as I can be
And you know that I will be
The best me that I can be.

Just you wait and see!

But until then I’ll have to be
The only thing that I can be
And that’s me.

Am I a sailor,
Do I sail the seas?
Am I a gardener, do I rake the leaves?
Am I a hippie, do I hug the trees?

No way! I’m just me,
And that’s the best that I can be.
