Medical Centre Teenage Drop-in clinic
The clinic, at Pennygate Medical Centre, Hindley takes places every
Thursday from 4pm-5pm. There’s no need for an appointment, just turn
up and tell someone at reception that you’re there.
If you want to see a particular doctor or nurse then you will need to
make an appointment with them, just call reception and ask for a teenage
service appointment, or use the automated line which means you don’t
have to speak to anyone.
The clinic provides advice on the following issues:

• Exams
• Bullying
• Family problems
Contraception
• All methods of contraception are free from the drop-in.
Sexually Transmitted Infections
• Tests and treatment
• Advice on safe sex
Pregnancy
• Free testing
• Advice

• Advice and support for lesbian, gay and bisexual young people
General body/health issues
