moving to new building
Brook Wigan and Leigh
are on the move to a brand new building.
Having spent many years at Coops Business Centre in Wigan, the service
is now moving to a brand new centre in The Galleries Shopping Centre in
Wigan town centre.
Brook provides free, confidential sexual health advice and support to
all young people under 25. The team who run the service say that their
new, modern centre will have loads of benefits such as.
• Up-to-date facilities
• Young people friendly surroundings
• Longer opening times
• Shorter waiting times.
Young people can get lots of help and support on sexual health issues
from Brook like:
• Condoms
• Emergency contraception
• Chlamydia screening
• STI screening (you’ll need to book an appointment for this one)
• Pregnancy testing
• Loads more.
We’ll post the opening times for the new building as soon as we get
them.
