Dance Fusion Explodes into Life

Image: Dance Fusion posterAfter the success of last year’s ‘Dance Fusion’ events, Wigan Borough’s week-long celebration of dance is returning this March, and there’s plenty of activities for young people to get involved with.

Kicking off on Sunday March 18th with a special Dance Fusion Showcase event, a number of free dance taster sessions will be taking place across the Borough, with several specifically aimed at young people.

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just fancy giving it a try, everyone is welcome to the dance workshops taking place at Hawkley Hall High School in Worsley Mesnes and Meadow Bank Family Centre in Hag Fold, Atherton.

The Youth Dance sessions at Hawkley Hall take place on Tuesday March 20th, running from 6-7pm for ages 9-11, and 7.15-8.15pm for 12-16 year olds.

At Meadow Bank Family Centre, Street Dance sessions take place on Wednesday March 21st from 3.30-4.30 for 9-11 year olds and 4.30-5.30pm for ages 12-16.

If you fancy getting involved or would like more information, please contact Vicky Thomas on (01942) 486922 or v.thomas@wlct.org
