 Throughout my childhood days,
You have warmed my heart.
Those little things you did,
Was a sweet start.
The lessons you taught me,
Have been so worthwhile.
Even when you shout,
I can’t help but smile.
It shouldn’t take an occasion,
To tell you ‘I love you’,
So through silent days,
Be sure to know that I do.
Your support and determination,
Has taught me to care.
Academically and emotionally,
My feelings I should share.
I understand love has its own way,
To reach within your heart.
You forget all the bad things,
That would make you wanna part.
The times we have shared together,
Truly priceless they shall remain.
I feel that it’s important,
That we can share our pain.
If you were ever to leave,
My heart would be broken in two.
But our memories are so strong,
That I’d cope even if you do.
Still, it wouldn’t be the same,
Even as you’ve loved, I gather,
That if we were ever to part,
I’d miss you so much, my darling Father...
