Name: Northern Lights Where: Club Nirvana/Kings Electric, Clarence Yard, Wigan (Various other venues throughout the borough). When: Fridays (Northern Lights Club Nights) plus various other nights for gigs etc. What happens here: Lupine Promotions are Wigan’s biggest promoters of live music and alternative club nights. Their ‘Northern Lights’ club nights Friday nights are mixture of indie, alternative, garage, northern soul and more. Frequently run live band nights, which in the past have featured the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Fall, Babyshambles and Yeti. All Lupine Promotions nights are strictly over-18.
