 Welcome to the new LINC Blog. Since this is our first post,
we figured give you a bit of a run down as to why we decided to add a
blog to LINC Online in the first place and what you’ll find here in the
coming weeks.
So, why add a blog to LINC Online?
The main answer to this is quite simple; because there just isn’t enough
space on the vast cyber land known as The LINC Online to tell you
everything that we’d like to.
Sounds silly eh? Especially considering the size of our site. But it’s
true.
Sometimes, we’ll be asked to let our readers know about things that we
can’t fit anywhere else, either because there’s no time, or because it
just doesn’t really fit anywhere else on the site.
What like?
Well, did you know that
Wigan’s libraries are currently running a micro fiction competition?
You did now. It’s things like that -short, sweet snippets of stuff you
can get involved in- that we’ll mainly be posting here.
Think of this blog as like our little news bulletin, where you can find
out about even more things that are going on in the Borough and, of
course, right here on the site.
We try and keep you informed of some of the stuff that’s new through out
homepage, but again there’s only so much space to do that, and much more
cool stuff that we’re adding to LINC Online, most of which you’ll be
able to find out about here.
For example, have you seen our recent reviews of
The Killers new album,
Day & Age, our latest features about
Batman and
Dr. Who?
You’ll also be able to catch up with the latest happenings from LINC HQ.
Like the gigs we’ll be going to, stuff we’ll be reviewing and more.
How often will it be Updated?
Unless we're abducted by aliens or something equally as bizarre,
we'll be updating this blog every time we update The LINC Online, which,
as you may know, is every week. We may only make one or two new posts
every week, but it's worth checking out to see what's new in LINC Land.
And of course, all your thoughts, feedback and comments are always
