Workshops, Come Join Us!
Local Democracy Week returns to Wigan Borough this October and, as
always, The LINC team will be out in force to cover all the events.
Yet because there’s so much going on, it’s going to be nigh on
impossible for our small team to get round and report on all of it.
Which is where you come in.
We’re on the look out for a crack team of budding young journalists to
help us report on events like Mayor for the Day, Question Time and more.
Don’t worry, we’re not expecting you to just go out and do it without
any training. That’s why we’re inviting all young people in Wigan
Borough to join us for a series of journalism workshops throughout Wigan
Borough.
If you’re planning a career in journalism, or even if you just have a
passing interest in getting your name in print, why not come down?
The LINC’s expert journos will be on hand to pass on tips, tricks and
advice and will have you on the way to writing the stories that will
feature in the next edition of The LINC magazine, as well as here on
LINC Online.
