The Children’s Information Service has an Outreach
Information Co-ordinator to represent the Wigan Children’s Information
Service, Jobcentre Plus and
Sure Start Children’s Centres.
The Co-ordinator will visit the Children’s Centres, Sure Start events,
Parent and Toddler Groups, job fairs etc. to provide free, up-to-date
information and guidance to employers, parents and carers about
registered Childcare, returning to work and Children’s Centres.
The Children’s Centres will also have up to date information about all
of the above services including Internet access to useful web sites.

visit your group or workplace on either a formal or informal basis,
