Community & Outreach
Our experienced Learning Team are involved
in a number of highly successful community-based projects and learning
activities throughout the Borough and at The History Shop.
Some recent examples include:
• Craft-based lotions & potions sessions;
• Reminiscence Workshops with Age Concern and Pensioner’s Link;
• Memory Stimulation for Alzheimer’s groups;
• Creative writing classes for Pemberton Pens;
• Talks for local interest groups;
• Support through the funding of Curating in the Community projects.

We can also arrange talks about local areas in the Borough, or we would
be happy to hear from you if there is anything else you would like us to
talk about with your group.
We can deliver sessions at the venue of your choice, or you are welcome
to visit us at The History Shop where we can show you what resources we
have on-site for your research and interest.
