Wigan Pier Theatre Company (WPTC) is the resident professional theatre company for the Wigan Borough.

WPTC offers a diverse and exciting range of theatre projects, drama performances and creative services for the local community.

Established in 1986, the company now runs drama projects in schools, Youth and Community theatres and can deliver bespoke theatre projects for any organisation or group.

Martin trained originally as an actor at Manchester Metropolitan University and performed in theatre and on television for 7 years. He changed career in 2000 when he joined Wigan Council’s Marketing Department and gained his current post in December 2002. Martin is actively involved with Wigan Little Theatre, where he directs and acts.

 

 

Performing Artists Network
WPTC runs a network for local professional performing artists and we are happy to hear from local artists who want to join this network. We also provide an e-mail information service making people aware of training & conference opportunities and employment information from regional and national networks.
