Welcome to the Turnpike Gallery

The Turnpike Gallery aims to inspire and enrich people through the visual arts by presenting a diverse programme of exhibitions, learning and outreach.

Purpose built in 1971 within the Turnpike Centre in Leigh, the gallery continues to provide an excellent venue for a range of temporary exhibitions. Focusing mainly on contemporary art, it presents a mix of local, regional, national and international artists, accompanied by a variety of participatory activities for the general public, schools and community groups.

Saturday: 10.30am-3.30pm
Sunday: Closed

The gallery will be closed on Public Holidays and during exhibition changeover.
